David Alexander has over three decades of
experience in the hospitality, tourism and convention industry.
For over 18 years, David owned and operated Creative Convention
Consultants, a full-service convention, destination and
incentive management company operating out of Halifax.
As President of Alexander Richardson Inc., David continues to
draw on his strong background in all aspects of the convention
industry.

David knows
how to plan large-scale events with equally large expectations.
Two years as the Catering Manager at the Sheraton Halifax and
four years at the World Trade and Convention Centre in the same
position taught him valuable lessons for accommodating large
groups on tight deadlines. Prior to that, David spent three
years as a Chef with Maple Leaf Catering, and served as Chief
Stewart on several Off-Shore Oil Rigs.
David has formal kitchen training and is a Certified Sous Chef.
He has held various other positions in the hospitality industry,
and has worked in restaurants and hotels throughout Canada,
primarily in Vancouver and Halifax. Extremely well versed in all
areas of conference planning and execution, David Alexander is
valuable member on any event team.
